Foreword 3

The content of this site is based on the concept of active Perception in which we do not perceive reality directly, but merely seek Confirmations of Expectations raised by our Description of the World and Ourselves within It. The complete, although unexpected, confirmations of this theory come in the form of reactions to this site. Only on the basis of those reactions/interpretations we could conclude that we really see (read) what we expect to see (read), and not what really is (written) out there.

Obviously, I'm partly to blame for it and that cries for correction:

The first step was to create site map since the navigation seems to present some problems. The access to it is enabled through button at the lower left corner of each page. By clicking at it, you will be taken to the Site Map where are listed all pages of this site. From there, you can easy reach any of the pages in whichever order you like. Please note that so accessed pages will appear in the new window (back button will not work, just close that window). This is done to facilitate people trying to detect some contradictions or discrepancies between pages. If you find any, please remember that they are invaluable to me - please make an effort and send them to me.
The second step was to initiate a Glossary with a brief illustration of the core concept of this site. This requires a lot of careful and methodical work. I expect that it will improve in time. I hope it is sufficient for the beginning.
And the third step was to enable an open exchange of thoughts related to this site. After some deliberation, I opted for Yahoo! Groups and created Imagination is Greater than Knowledge group under Science > Cognitive Science directory as a public group. The short name for the group is Imagine_Knowledge.

Since the release of the first edition of these pages in October 2000, I have been exploring logic and its relations to the concept of cause & effect driven deterministic systems. At the same time, I have been working on the concept of identity (I/me), self-reference and common perceptual base as I call it. Pages related to these subjects are planned for the fourth edition.

The third edition could be considered as improved second edition (released in September 2001).

The feedback (or lack of it) on the pages of the first edition produced only minor changes and I hope for better with the following additions:
