WILD BIRD REHABILITATION

In 1999 I realized a long held ambition to publish a quality text on the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned wild birds.

Although "Caring for Australian Native Birds" concentrates on Australian species, the principles and processes can be applied to like birds around the world.  This web site provides an overview of the book, ordering information and other material about the book.

I also conduct regular training courses for wildlife rehabilitation organizations based around the book.  I now have a regular venue in Sydney and provide weekday training to any carers who wish to attend more in depth or less time constrained training.

Additional information regarding training of foster-carers is provided on the training courses page of this site.
